Team Leader Childrens Residential
\n Location: Bolton
\n Salary: £14.50 £14.75 per hour + £60 sleep rate

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to join a childrens residential home in Bolton, supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs.

\n

This role is ideal for a motivated and experienced residential childcare professional looking to take the next step into leadership, or further develop within a Team Leader position.

\n

Key Responsibilities

    \n
  • Lead shifts and support the day-to-day operation of the home
  • \n
  • Provide supervision, guidance, and support to staff to maintain high standards of care
  • \n
  • Support the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with The Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and safeguarding frameworks
  • \n
  • Promote positive behaviour support and manage challenging behaviours effectively
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and case documentation
  • \n
  • Contribute to care reviews, planning meetings, and multi-agency working
  • \n
  • Support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the overall running of the home
  • \n
  • Act as a role model through direct work with children and young people
  • \n

Requirements

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience within childrens residential care
  • \n
  • Level 3 in Children's Residential
  • \n
  • Experience working at Senior/Team Leader level (or ready to step up)
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted regulations
  • \n
  • Ability to lead shifts and support staff development
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • \n
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
  • \n
