Team Leader Childrens Residential
\n Location: Bolton
\n Salary: £14.50 £14.75 per hour + £60 sleep rate
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to join a childrens residential home in Bolton, supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
\nThis role is ideal for a motivated and experienced residential childcare professional looking to take the next step into leadership, or further develop within a Team Leader position.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Lead shifts and support the day-to-day operation of the home \n
- Provide supervision, guidance, and support to staff to maintain high standards of care \n
- Support the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments \n
- Ensure compliance with The Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and safeguarding frameworks \n
- Promote positive behaviour support and manage challenging behaviours effectively \n
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and case documentation \n
- Contribute to care reviews, planning meetings, and multi-agency working \n
- Support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the overall running of the home \n
- Act as a role model through direct work with children and young people \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- Previous experience within childrens residential care \n
- Level 3 in Children's Residential \n
- Experience working at Senior/Team Leader level (or ready to step up) \n
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted regulations \n
- Ability to lead shifts and support staff development \n
- Excellent communication and organisational skills \n
- Full UK driving licence (preferred) \n
