Rate: £18.50 per hour\n
Contract: Ad-hoc / ongoing opportunities available\n
\nPertemps is recruiting experienced 360 Excavator Operators to support telecoms civil engineering projects across Edinburgh, Glasgow, and surrounding areas.\n
\nThe role will involve working on telecoms infrastructure projects, including the installation and removal of telecoms infrastructure, cabinet foundations, ducting, and associated civil engineering works.\n

\nInitially, these positions will be offered on an ad-hoc basis, with the potential for regular ongoing work for the right candidates as projects continue to expand across Scotland.\n

- Excavation for telecoms cabinet and monopole foundations
\n - Duct installation and duct diversions
\n - Installation of draw pits and chambers
\n - Shuttering and formwork
\n - Concrete foundation preparation and backfilling
\n - Working safely around live underground services
\n - Supporting groundworkers when required
\n - Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
\n
\n

- CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator Operator qualification
\n - CSCS card
\n - Previous experience within civil engineering and utility/telecoms works
\n - Ability to work from construction drawings and site instructions
\n - Good understanding of safe excavation practices
\n - Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
\n
\n

- NRSWA Operative qualification
\n - CAT & Genny training
\n - Experience working on Ericsson, MBNL, EE, Vodafone, or Openreach projects
\n
