PRESS BREAK OPERATOR

Jark Stevenage are URGENTLY recruiting for an EXPERIENCED PRESS BREAK OPERATOR for a Stevenage company.\n
\nJOB TITLE:\n
\nPress Break operator/sheet metal worker\n
\nJOB SUMMERY :\n
\npress break operator and general metal work.\n
\nRESPONSIBILITES:\n
\nThis position requires knowledge of the press break and will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the machine.\n
\nDUTIES:\n
\nSet up and operate press break machine in accordance with production drawings.\n
\nCarry out basic maintenance and cleaning of the machine.\n
\nMaintain a safe working environment.\n
\nSet priorities to meet production goals as scheduled.\n
\nEnsure clean , tidy, and organised work area always.\n
\nPerform both visual and dimensional inspections to quality standards.\n
\nDetect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials.\n
\nREQUIREMENTS:\n
\nessential to have good level of experience of the press break and its operations.\n
\nExperience in the sheet metal industry.\n
\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings.\n
\nAble to work to fine tolerance\n
\nA good eye for detail and accuracy.\n
\nCommunication and problem-solving skills.\n
\nKnowledge of different types of materials.\n
\nAble to work well with team members.\n
\nWORKING HOURS:\n
\nMonday to Friday 8AM-4.30PM Overtime available\n
\nWages to be discussed based on experience\n
