NEOS Engineering are currently recruiting for an experienced Workshop Plant Fitter to join a well-established and highly respected heavy plant dealership based in Newry.

The Role\nAs a Workshop Plant Fitter, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of heavy plant and construction equipment.

- Telehandlers \n
- Dumpers \n
- Rollers \n
- Mini Excavators \n
- Tracked Dumpers \n
- Skid Steers \n
- Compact Loaders \n
- Agricultural Tractors \n
- Attachments including buckets, breakers, grabs and hydraulic equipment \n
This is predominantly a workshop-based role where you'll diagnose faults, complete repairs efficiently and ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standard before returning to customers.
What You'll Be Doing\n- \n
- Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance. \n
- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults. \n
- Repairing engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrical systems. \n
- Completing inspections and preparing machines for delivery. \n
- Working safely and maintaining high workshop standards. \n
- Completing job documentation accurately. \n
- \n
- Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Service Engineer or Heavy Plant Technician. \n
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills. \n
- Experience working on construction plant, agricultural machinery or heavy equipment. \n
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential. \n
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn. \n
