Cabling Installation Engineer, Bristol\n
\nJoin our front-line installation team to work on both Business As Usual (BAU) and project-based tasks, delivering communication infrastructure solutions at customer sites. This role includes hands-on work such as cabling, network switch installation, and patching. Onsite training and a clear career development path will be provided based on experience.\n
\nKey Responsibilities:\n
\n
    \n
  • Network cabinet installations
  • \n
  • Installation of primary and secondary containment systems
  • \n
  • Installation of fibre and Cat6/Cat6A horizontal cabling solutions
  • \n
  • Termination, testing, and labelling of fibre/Cat6/Cat6A solutions
  • \n
  • Network switch installation
  • \n
  • Copper and fibre patching
  • \n

Requirements

\n


\n
    \n
  • Experience terminating copper/fibre cabling (Cat6/A)
  • \n
  • Experience of testing both fibre optic and copper cables using OTDR/ Fluke Testers
  • \n
  • Good knowledge of current installation practices
  • \n
  • Experience in the installation of containment systems (both Steel and PVC)
  • \n
  • Experience in running cables internally and externally
  • \n
  • Fibre splicing
  • \n
  • Focused and able to work within a team and independently.
  • \n
  • Good communication skills
  • \n
\n
\nQualifications\n
\n
    \n
  • CNCI Certification or City & Guilds 3667 is a bonus
  • \n
  • PASMA Certification
  • \n
  • ECS / CSCS / EUSR Certification
  • \n
  • IPAF Certification
  • \n
\n
