Trainee Leakage Technician
Job Description
We are recruiting Trainee Field Technicians to join a leading water utilities company, supporting essential leak detection work across the underground water network. No previous experience is needed just a full UK driving licence and a willingness to work outdoors.

\nWorking Hours: Days and Nights roles available 40 hours per week.

\nYou will gain accredited qualifications including:
\nEUSR Water Hygiene Training
\nUnit 2 Street Works (NRSWA)
\nThe Role:
\nThis is a practical, field-based role working outdoors at night, supporting leak detection activities across the water network.
\nYour daily duties will include:
\nAssisting with detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leaks
\nSupporting repair teams by providing accurate leak detection information
\nCarrying out project and survey work across the network
\nUploading data to a laptop and completing all required paperwork
\nDriving between sites and completing manual tasks (lifting, bending, stretching)
\nFollowing strict health & safety procedures
\nYou will be trained to use specialist equipment to detect leakage noise and help pinpoint leak locations across the underground network.
