7.5T Delivery Driver

Steer Staffing are currently recruiting for 7.5 tonne Delivery Drivers, to join a distribution and delivery company based in Wednesbury.

You will be delivering customers orders to their houses and office sites, working with a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries route plans are put together for your daily, and your vehicle is pre loaded each morning.

The shifts are 5 days on and 3 days off, the days will be on a rota basis, with two 30-minute breaks, morning, and afternoon.

A DBS check will be required for this role.

The duties of the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver include:

• Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role
\n
• Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time
\n
• Following a delivery route
\n
• Pre calling customers before arrival
\n
• Filling in paperwork as and when required
\n
• Removing all packaging from each delivery
\n

The ideal 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver will have:

• Experience within a similar role
\n
• CPC and TACO
\n
• 7.5 ton licence or above
\n
• The ability to handle heavy goods
\n
• A clean DBS
\n

The hours of work for the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver are 5 days on 3 days off, the working days cover any 5 over Monday Sunday, you must be available to work between the hours of 6,30am 6.00pm.

The salary for the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver will be £14.28 per hour, any hours over 45 will be paid at time and a half.
