Key Responsibilities of an Operational Cyber Software Engineer\n

  • Design, develop and maintain secure, high-assurance software solutions
  • \n
  • Deliver robust applications using modern development methodologies and best practices
  • \n
  • Integrate security considerations throughout the software development lifecycle
  • \n
  • Conduct peer reviews and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team
  • \n
  • Support testing, documentation and continuous integration activities
  • \n
  • Identify security risks and vulnerabilities within software solutions
  • \n
  • Work across a variety of technologies, platforms and operating systems
  • \n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technical challenges

What We're Looking For in an Operational Cyber Software Engineer\n
    \n
  • Experience with software development tools and practices, including source control, testing and CI/CD
  • \n
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C++, Java or C#
  • \n
  • Experience with scripting or utility languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell or Perl
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and computing fundamentals
  • \n
  • Experience working across multiple operating systems
  • \n
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools
  • \n
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • \n
  • Experience leading technical tasks or mentoring team members is advantageous

  • An interest in cybersecurity and secure software development
