\nMeridian are working with a well-establishedMEPcontractor near Deeside thatare growing a new Mechanical division and have opportunities for an ambitious Working Mechanical Supervisor tobe involved with the installation, service, repair and maintenance of Commercial Plumbing, Heating & Renewable systems, as well as short-term call outs. Projects consist of small works, maintenance contracts, and full site installations. Requirements for the role:\n
\n

\n
• Blue or Gold Plumber/Heating Engineer/Pipefitter CSCScard
\n
• CSCS Plumber or Pipefitter
\n
• NVQ Level 2/3 Diploma in Plumbing & Heating
\n
• IPAF not essential but is beneficial
\n
• SSSTS/SMSTS not essential but is beneficial
\n
• Experience of commercial installation & maintenance contracts
\n
• Minimum of 10 years experience with Mechanical Building Services
\n
• Full, clean UK Driving Licence
\n

Duties include (but are not exclusive to):\n
\n

\n
• Mixture of installation and Supervising (c.90% Hands-On Installation/10% Supervising)
\n
• Ability to work on mechanical building services, including plumbing, heating, hot & cold water systems, sanitaryware, drainage etc.
\n
• Overseeing installation of plumbing and heating systemson commercial, domestic, and industrial sites
\n
• Working alongside other trades and subcontractors
\n
• Guiding and supporting teams of workers carrying out the installations
\n
• Working on the installation or helping to guide other engineers and subcontractors
\n
• Ability to read drawings and work closely with management teams to achieve project goals
\n
• Ability to work independently on set tasks, or in larger teams when required
\n
• Attend emergency call outs to diagnose and repair issues efficiently
\n
• Working to deadlines for project delivery, with excellent time-keeping skills
\n
• Full understanding and compliance with onsite HSE
\n
• Willingness to learn and progress
\n
