Refrigeration Engineer
\nSalary: £20.00 per hour (£52,000 per annum based on 50 hours per week) + Overtime
The Opportunity\nWe are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business.
\nThis is a site-based role responsible for maintaining and supporting critical refrigeration and cooling systems across a busy operational environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and supporting the smooth running of the facility.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n

Carry out planned preventative maintenance on refrigeration and cooling systems

Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault-finding and repairs
\n - \n
Diagnose equipment issues and identify appropriate solutions
\n - \n
Recommend repairs, upgrades or replacement equipment where necessary
\n - \n
Ensure all systems operate safely, efficiently and in line with relevant regulations
\n - \n
Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately
\n - \n
Work independently whilst supporting wider operational teams when required
\n
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience working within refrigeration engineering
\n - \n
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
\n - \n
Experience maintaining refrigeration and cooling equipment
\n - \n
Ability to manage your own workload and work proactively
\n - \n
Good communication and teamwork skills
\n - \n
F-Gas certification would be advantageous
\n

Earnings of approximately £52,000 per annum before overtime
