JOB PURPOSE
\nSupport Business H&S by conducting HSE monitoring activities in line with current legislation requirements.
\nControl Buildings & Electrical maintenance activities for the Heanor facility in line with the planned schedule manufacturing requirements and emergency requests
\nAssist in the control / issue site equipment and PPE.
\nControl / issue Company pool vehicles and manage service / maintenance requirements.
\nTravel to UK sites and suppliers to deliver / collect items to ensure project delivery is kept to schedule
\n\n2. JOB ACTIVITIES
\nCarry out HSE activities to maintain compliance in line with the planned schedule
\nResponsible for the control and scheduling of general buildings maintenance activities.
\nWhere reasonable, travel to site and carry out work in support of the Production/Installation department.
\nWhen required carry out Production / Installation activities to support project activities, as required.
\nWork in a professional manner with internal and external personnel as part of day to day activities.
\nRead and understand Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Health Safety & Environmental documentation, etc, as required, to ensure compliance with current regulations and legislations.
\nProvide information and feedback to the relevant areas of the business, as necessary, to enable effective communication for improvement / awareness activities.
\nMaintain the Zurich register of Lifting equipment, ensuring it is available and ready for use as required by the Installation & Production Teams.
\nResponsible for the coordination and allocation of company pool vehicle for use by company employees. Monitor condition and act on any findings or legal requirements.
\nTo comply with company specifications, plans and working instructions ensuring site and product compliance with quality, Health Safety & Environmental standards and current legislations.
\nGeneral housekeeping of stores & yards and other areas.
\nTo support all areas of the company in the distribution of all consumables.
\n\n3. SUPERVISION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
\nWork closely with other team members on matters of Health Safety & Environmental, welfare and conduct
\nIdentify and inform relevant areas of the business regarding any identified non-conformance issues, along with any required corrective / improvement activities to maintain or achieve compliance requirements.
\nWork under his / her, own initiative.
\nPromote compliance with the Cullum IMS throughout the business to ensure effective and compliant process controls are achieved.
\n4. GENERIC CONDITIONS
\nPromote and represent Cullum when required, setting a good personal example at all times.
\nTake all possible and reasonable steps to create a harmonious working
\nConsistently utilise effective communication and team working techniques.
\nBe aware of, and adhere to Cullum policies and procedures, including but not limited to ISO9001, ISO14001, BS OHSAS 18001, the Health, Safety, Welfare, Environmental & Quality policies and procedures and Employee Handbook.
\nUndertake duties as may be required within capabilities consistent with the Terms and Conditions of employment and responsibilities in accordance with UK and EC Laws.
\nUndertake tasks and responsibilities assigned by line manager.
