\nWe are recruiting for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join a leading commercial vehicle fleet business covering East London, Purfleet and the surrounding areas. The role is primarily field-based, attending customer sites to diagnose, service and repair commercial vehicles, with the flexibility to work from the workshop when required.\n

Mobile HGV Technician Role\n

\n
• Diagnose, service and repair a wide range of HGVs and commercial vehicles.
\n
• Carry out inspections, maintenance and fault finding to manufacturer standards.
\n
• Prepare commercial vehicles for MOT testing.
\n
• Ensure all vehicles comply with safety and legal requirements.
\n
• Work on a fleet including Mercedes-Benz, Iveco and Ford commercial vehicles.
\n
• Complete all paperwork accurately and maintain high standards of workmanship.
\n
• Provide excellent customer service whilst working independently in the field.
\n

Mobile HGV Technician Requirements\n

\n
• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent City & Guilds / recognised apprenticeship).
\n
• Previous experience working as an HGV Technician.
\n
• Full UK Class 2 (Category C or CE) driving licence.
\n
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
\n
• Able to pass employment vetting, including financial and criminal record checks.
\n
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
\n
