HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver – Chesterfield

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers to join our well-established client based in Chesterfield.

This role may be suitable for candidates with experience as an LGV 2 HIAB Driver, Category C HIAB Driver or Truck Driver.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
\n
• Start times from 07:00
\n

Pay Rate:

• £15.00 per hour
\n

Day to Day Duties:

As an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, your duties will include:

\n
• Driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
\n
• Completing between five and 12 deliveries to stores across the UK each day
\n
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure throughout transit
\n
• Delivering products using HIAB equipment
\n
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
\n
• Completing all required paperwork accurately
\n
• Adhering to all road traffic legislation and company procedures
\n

Essential Skills:

The skills required to be successful as an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver are:

\n
• Minimum of 24 months' experience driving Category C vehicles
\n
• Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
\n
• Valid UK CPC Card
\n
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• HIAB ALLMI Licence
\n
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
\n
• No DR10, DG10, IN10 or TT99 convictions
\n
• No major endorsement codes
\n
• Good understanding of road safety and compliance requirements
\n
• Reliable and professional approach to work
\n

Desirable Experience:

\n
• Multi-drop store delivery experience
\n
• Previous experience using HIAB equipment
\n

Training:

\n
• First-day driving assessment
\n
• Training provided where required
\n
• Ongoing industry-related training and support
\n
