\nHourly Rate: £15 - £22
Hours:Monday Thursday: 7:00am 6:00pm | Friday: 7:00am 12:00pm
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Asbestos Removal Supervisor to join a leading demolition and remediation contractor on a major nuclear project in North Wales.

\nThe Role:
\nAs an Asbestos Removal Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading site teams, ensuring all asbestos removal works are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with current legislation and site procedures.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Supervise and manage asbestos removal and remediation teams on site. \n
- Ensure all work complies with current asbestos regulations, company procedures, and site-specific requirements. \n
- Deliver daily site briefings and toolbox talks, ensuring all operatives understand Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). \n
- Liaise with clients, site managers, analysts, and internal project teams. \n
- Complete and oversee all project documentation, including site records, clearance paperwork, and incident reports. \n
- Monitor and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance. \n
- Mentor and support asbestos operatives, providing guidance and on-the-job training where required. \n
- Lead by example, promoting a positive safety culture and professional standards across site. \n
Essential Requirements:
\n- \n
- Full UK Driving Licence. \n
- Licensed Asbestos Supervisor Certificate. \n
- Current Asbestos Medical. \n
- Ability to obtain and successfully pass full Nuclear Security Clearance. \n
- Previous experience supervising licensed asbestos removal projects. \n
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. \n
- Excellent understanding of asbestos legislation and health & safety requirements. \n
Desirable Qualifications:
\n- \n
- SSSTS or SMSTS. \n
- PASMA. \n
- IPAF. \n
- Level 3 NVQ in Supervision. \n
- CSCS Gold Card. \n
