Essential requirements\n

• Sole British nationality is required due to security constraints (we cannot hire dual nationals)
\n
• Practical software development capabilities using some of: Python, C or C++
\n
• Some professional experiencein aresearch and development envrironment
\n
• A degree in Digital Forensics or some experience in a practical digital forensicsrole.
\n

What you will be doing\n

\n
• Conducting technical research into new defense projects to determine engineering feasibility
\n
• Developing functional prototypes and demonstrating proof of concept designs to clients
\n
• Articulating complex technical research findings clearly in both written reports and verbal briefings
\n
• Investigating mobile security architectures, trust certificates and cyber security incidents
\n

\n
Skills and background\n

\n
• Thorough knowledge of mobile networks, VPNs, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC
\n
• Understanding of cyber security incident response and mobile threat landscapes
\n
• Experience with eDiscovery tools or digital forensic methodologies
\n
• Strong professional curiosity with a commitment to continuous professional development
\n
• Ability to work independently to solve open ended research problems
\n
