JOB PURPOSE

\n

To ensure Production Machinery is maintained & repaired to a high standard to enable maximum production speeds with minimum interruptions and breakdowns.

\n

To ensure Maintenance & Service records are maintained

\n

To devise, fabricate, and install, improvements to Production Machines.

\n

\n

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

\n

Carry out planned maintenance on plant & equipment to a high standard

\n

Carry out planned tool changes on the production machinery

\n

Respond to breakdowns on Production machines

\n

Install and relocate production equipment

\n

Complete maintenance records

\n

Read Electrical & Mechanical Drawings

\n

Carry out Electrical Fault Finding

\n

Carry out Mechanical Fault finding

\n

Carry out Pneumatic Fault Finding

\n

Record work carried out on SAP and handover to other shifts

\n

Put in spare parts requests to the engineering manager

\n

Liaise with Contractors if required

\n

Liaise with other departments such as quality and production

\n

Health & Safety. Responsible for self and others

\n

Ensure a good working relationship with all Departments

\n

Work overtime when required

\n

Work Shifts

Take responsibility of personal tools and cleanliness during/post maintenance

Experience working on a Vacuum pumps

Experience working on Compressors

\n

Experience working on water cooling systems

\n

PC Literate

\n

Experience using and logging data on SAP.

\n

Experience working in a high speed, high pressure production environment

\n

Experience within the Carton Manufacturing Industry

\n

Experience working on motor repairs

\n

Experience working on gearbox repairs

\n

Experience working with high temperature tooling

\n

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

General:Pace of work, customer demands, multi-tasking

\n

PC/Tablet:Using online systems to log work (SAP, Safefood 360).

\n

Factory/Warehouse/Yard:General health & safety, manual handling (bending, lifting, carrying, twisting)

\n

\n

Working pattern will be a rotation of the following three-shift pattern:

\n

Mornings: Monday to Friday, 6:00am 2:00pm

\n

Nights: Monday to Friday, 22:00pm 6:00am

\n

Afters: Monday to Friday, 14:00pm 22:00pm
