Location: Dudley, West Midlands\n
Pay Rate: £22.00 - £30.00 per hour (DOE)\n
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:30pm\n
\nOur client, a well-established commercial vehicle maintenance provider in the Dudley area, is currently seeking an experienced HGV Diagnostics Technician to join their busy workshop team.\n
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician with strong diagnostic and fault-finding experience to work on a modern fleet of heavy goods vehicles in a professional and well-equipped environment.\n

\nKey Responsibilities\n

- Carry out advanced diagnostics and fault-finding on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
\n - Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.
\n - Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment and software to identify issues quickly and accurately.
\n - Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with manufacturer and DVSA standards.
\n - Conduct inspections and roadworthiness checks.
\n - Complete repair documentation and workshop records accurately.
\n - Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
\n - Proven experience working as an HGV Technician or Diagnostics Technician.
\n - Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
\n - Experience using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical data.
\n - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n

- Competitive hourly rate of £22.00 - £30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
