Location: Chard, Somerset
Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 DOE + Overtime (1.5x)
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Hours: Monday Thursday 8am 5pm Friday 8am 1pm

\nCNC Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector. \nKey Responsibilities

- Carry out first-off, in-process, goods-in and final inspection of precision-engineered components. \n
- Inspect CNC machined components using a range of manual inspection equipment. \n
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications. \n
- Complete quality inspection reports and maintain accurate records. \n
- Identify and report non-conformances, supporting corrective actions where required. \n
- Work closely with production teams to improve quality standards and manufacturing processes. \n
- Ensure compliance with customer and industry quality requirements. \n
- Maintain a safe, organised and quality-focused working environment. \n
What We're Looking For
\n- \n
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within a precision engineering or CNC manufacturing environment. \n
- Experience inspecting CNC machined components. \n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. \n
- Competent using manual inspection equipment such as verniers, micrometers and gauges. \n
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. \n
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. \n
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high quality standards. \n
