Whats on Offer?\n

• £17.00/ hrbasic

• £25.50/ hr overtimeafter 8 hours worked each day
\n
• £25.50/ hr for ALL weekend hours
\n
• Only 1 - 2 deliverys per day
\n
• Stable Monday to Fridayshift pattern
\n
• Start times availablebetween06:00 and 12:00
\n
• Ongoing, consistent work
\n
• Immediate starts available

The Role\n
\nAs anHGV 2 driver, you will be carrying out store deliveries across the region, ensuring goods are delivered safely, professionally, and on time. This is a customer-facing role, ideal for anHGV 2 driverwho takes pride in providing excellent service and representing the business positively.\n

\n HGV 2 Driver Tasks:\n
\n

\n
• Complete daily store deliveries in a safe and efficient manner
\n
• Conduct vehicles walk-round checks before and after each shift
\n
• Ensure all deliveries are completed within scheduled timeframes
\n
• Load security checks and compliance with transport legislation
\n
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and electronic PODs
\n
• Communicate professionally with store staff, transport teams, and customers
\n
• Adhere to Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and Road Transport Regulations
\n
• Report any vehicle defects, delays, or incidents promptly
\n
• Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service at all times
\n

Requirements for HGV 2 Drivers:\n
\n

\n
• Minimum1 year HGV 2 driving experience
\n
• Valid Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph card
\n
• Maximum6 penalty points
\n
• No major endorsements (DD, DR, CD, IN, TT, or similar)
\n
• Strong understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
\n
