HGV Class 1 Day Driver

We are currently looking to recruit 10x experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for General Haulage work. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, reliable operation offering consistent work, clean runs, and a supportive transport team.

We offer a variety of shift patterns, allowing drivers to choose what works best for them. Available options include Monday - Friday, weekends, 4 on 4 off, 5 6 5 6 amongst others. Drivers can also choose their preferred start time, with flexible start times available around 06:00 daily. We will work with the schedule that best suits your needs. New passes are welcome to apply. A permanent opportunity is available for the right candidate.

Duties:

• Conduct thorough daily vehicle walk around checks, reporting any defects
\n
• Ensure all loads are sufficiently secured before transportation
\n
• Nationwide deliveries and collections
\n
• Curtainsider work (No handballing or Multi-Drop)
\n
• Adhere to all Tachograph and WTD regulations
\n

\n
• Full UK driving licence, DQC Qualification and Digital Tacho Card
\n
• Sound understanding of EU Working Time and Driving Time regulations
\n
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
\n
• Flexible with working hours
\n
• Well-presented, professional and reliable
\n

• Ongoing regular work with optional weekends
\n
• Weekly pay and immediate starts

Schedule:
\n Monday to Friday with flexible start times available
\n 10-15 hour shifts
\n 55- 65 expected hours per week

PAYE Rates:

Monday - Friday £16.81 p/h
\n Saturday - £18.49 p/h
\n Sunday - £19.05 p/h
\n (Holiday Inclusive)

LTD Rates:

Monday - Friday £19 p/h
\n Saturday - £19.75 p/h
\n Sunday - £20.50 p/h
