Mentus Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a leading private mental health provider to recruit an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join a specialist CAMHS Eating Disorders service in London.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly regarded multidisciplinary team providing specialist care to young people aged 1218 years with complex eating disorders and associated mental health conditions.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment to young people within an inpatient eating disorders service. Working alongside psychologists, therapists, nurses and allied health professionals, you will play a key role in delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care.

• Provide consultant psychiatric leadership within the CAMHS Eating Disorders service.
\n
• Assess, diagnose and manage young people aged 1218 years with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
\n
• Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to treatment planning.
\n
• Complete Mental Health Act assessments where appropriate.
\n
• Liaise effectively with families, community CAMHS teams and external agencies.
\n
• Ensure clinical documentation is completed to a high standard.
\n
• Participate in clinical governance and service development initiatives.
\n

• Full registration with the GMC with a licence to practise.
\n
• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (or eligibility to join).
\n
• Section 12 Approval.
\n
• Approved Clinician status (desirable).
\n
• Previous experience working within CAMHS and eating disorders services.
\n
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary working skills.
\n
