\nMonday, Wednesday & Friday: 8:00am 5:30pm
\nTuesday & Thursday: 8:00am 7:00pm

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their friendly and professional workshop team.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys a varied workload without the pressure of undertaking major engine or gearbox rebuilds. The workshop specialises in fast-fit and routine mechanical work, making it an ideal environment for someone who enjoys servicing, repairs and keeping vehicles safely on the road.
The Role\nAs a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring every job is completed efficiently and to the highest possible standard.
\nWorking as part of an experienced team, you'll undertake a varied workload including servicing, brakes, suspension, steering components, exhausts, tyres and MOT repairs, helping to deliver an outstanding service to every customer.

Carry out routine servicing and vehicle maintenance.

Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
\n - \n
Replace braking systems and components.
\n - \n
Carry out suspension and steering repairs.
\n - \n
Complete MOT preparation and repair work.
\n - \n
Fit tyres, exhausts and other fast-fit components.
\n - \n
Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional work where appropriate.
\n - \n
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with manufacturer and company standards.
\n - \n
Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
\n - \n
Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent customer experience.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
\nIdeally you'll have:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
\n - \n
Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a busy workshop.
\n - \n
A full UK driving licence.
\n - \n
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
\n - \n
Experience carrying out servicing, brakes, suspension, steering, exhausts and MOT repairs.
\n - \n
A positive, reliable and professional approach.
\n - \n
Excellent attention to detail.
\n - \n
A genuine passion for the automotive industry.
\n - \n
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
\n
Please note, this role does not involve major engine rebuilds, gearbox repairs or heavy mechanical work. It is focused on delivering high-quality fast-fit and general mechanical repairs in a busy, customer-focused workshop.
