Our client is looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Day Shift Operator to join their busy operation in Slough, handling a wide range of cargo including chilled, frozen and ambient goods.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Manual handling of all types of cargo, including perishable goods in chilled, frozen and ambient temperature environments.
\n
• Operating a fleet of Counterbalance Forklift Trucks (1.5T–8T) safely and efficiently.
\n
• Picking, packing, splitting and sorting shipments accurately and on time.
\n
• Loading and unloading company vehicles, from vans through to articulated lorries, as well as visiting vehicles.
\n
• Building, sorting and stacking aircraft pallets while recording all movements using the warehouse computer system.
\n
• Maintaining accurate warehouse stock records, both electronically and on paper.
\n
• Working closely with the office team, supervisors and warehouse management to ensure smooth daily operations.
\n
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and promoting a clean, safe working environment.
\n

What They're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• A minimum of 3 years' warehouse experience
\n
• Previous experience within the Air Freight/Air Cargo industry
\n
• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (B1 Classification) (B2 is advantageous but not essential)
\n
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
\n
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
\n
• A positive attitude and commitment to health and safety
\n

4 Days On / 4 Days Off

09:00 – 19:00
