CNC Miller - Operator

Location: Crayford, Kent

Salary: £35,000 - £41,600 DOE + Overtime Paid at Time & 1/3

Hours: Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week

An established precision engineering company based in Crayford, Kent, is seeking an experienced CNC Miller - Programmer, Setter and Operator to join its skilled manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-respected business producing high-quality precision components.

You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines, ensuring components are manufactured accurately and efficiently to customer specifications.

• Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
\n
• Machining precision components to tight tolerances
\n
• Using a range of measuring and inspection equipment
\n
• Selecting and managing cutting tools
\n
• Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and health & safety
\n

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer, Setter and Operator
\n
• Experience with Heidenhain controls would be advantageous
\n
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
\n
• Strong understanding of precision machining and tolerances
\n
• Experience using measuring and inspection equipment
\n
• Organised, reliable and safety-conscious approach to work
\n
