- Previous experience within freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or a customer account coordination role \n
- Strong understanding of road and sea freight operations \n
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills \n
- Ability to manage multiple customer accounts while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail \n
- Experience preparing quotations, processing bookings, and managing customer enquiries \n
- Knowledge of customs procedures, dangerous goods regulations, and insurance requirements would be advantageous \n
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with customers, suppliers, and internal teams \n
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines \n
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and using internal systems \n

- Act as the main point of contact for key customer accounts, providing a high level of customer service and support \n
- Provide shipping, transport, and freight forwarding expertise to customers \n
- Manage customer enquiries, provide quotations, process bookings, and follow up opportunities to secure business \n
- Coordinate road and sea freight shipments from booking through to completion \n
- Ensure all shipment information is processed accurately and promptly to avoid delays \n
- Maintain regular communication with customers, keeping them updated on shipment progress and resolving queries efficiently \n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and external partners \n
- Work closely with Sales Executives to support business development and customer retention \n
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, dangerous goods requirements, and insurance procedures where applicable \n
- Liaise with customs teams to support smooth import and export clearance processes \n
- Monitor outstanding issues, claims, and customer concerns, ensuring they are escalated and resolved appropriately \n
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and internal systems \n
- Prepare reports and information for management when required \n
- Follow company policies, procedures, quality standards, and health and safety requirements \n
- Provide support to other departments as required to ensure the smooth running of operations \n
