Dental Equipment Service Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Location: Hybrid / Field Based – Nuneaton & surrounding areas

Are you an experienced Service Engineer with a background in dental equipment, medical equipment, or specialist technical servicing?

We are currently recruiting for a Dental Equipment Service Engineer to join a growing technical service team, responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining specialist dental equipment across customer sites.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled engineer who enjoys working independently, solving complex problems, and providing a high level of customer service.

As a Dental Equipment Service Engineer, you will be responsible for attending customer sites to complete servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on dental equipment.

You will play a key role in ensuring customers receive a reliable and professional service, from initial fault diagnosis through to repair completion and customer communication.

• Attend customer sites to carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on dental equipment
\n
• Diagnose faults accurately and complete effective repairs
\n
• Complete preventative maintenance activities to maintain equipment reliability
\n
• Review daily schedules and prepare all required tools, parts, and equipment before attending jobs
\n
• Ensure all work is completed to a high professional standard
\n
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding faults, repairs completed, and any further recommendations
\n
• Provide accurate service reports and documentation following completed work
\n
• Manage your own diary and workload effectively
\n
• Maintain excellent customer relationships through professional communication and service delivery
\n

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience servicing or repairing dental equipment (essential)
\n
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
\n
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving ability
\n
• Experience working independently in a field-based engineering role
\n
• Strong organisation and time management skills
\n
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
\n
• A professional attitude and ability to represent the business on customer sites
