Quality Inspector

Full Job Description

Responsibilities:

· Inspects and verifies that cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies meet engineering and program requirements.

· Visually and physically inspects production work and documents outcomes.

· Successful applicant will verify that product quality is in accordance with IPC/WHMA 620 workmanship standards and built according to engineering drawings and work instructions.

· Must be able to read and interpret engineering documentation and specifications.

· Experience performing AS9102 First Inspection Reports is a plus.

· Must be able to enter inspection data and defect information into a computer database.

· 2 years of experience in inspecting or assembling cables or wire harnesses is required.

· IPC certification at company expense will be required.

Education:

· High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

· Quality inspection: 5 years (Preferred)
