Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology

\n

to join our growing OB/GYN team.

\n

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience performing comprehensive

\n

obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations in a busy physician office setting. This

\n

position requires exceptional technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing

\n

The Opportunity

exceptional women's healthcare. As an integral member of our clinical team, you will perform

\n

high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while working closely with physicians to ensure

\n

accurate diagnoses and outstanding patient outcomes.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

Perform comprehensive obstetric ultrasound examinations, including:

\n

%CF; First trimester dating and viability studies

\n

%CF; Nuchal translucency examinations (if certified)

\n

%CF; Second trimester fetal anatomy surveys

\n

%CF; Third trimester growth ultrasounds

\n

%CF; Biophysical profiles (BPPs)

\n

%CF; Cervical length, fetal presentation, placental, and amniotic fluid assessments

\n

Perform comprehensive gynecologic ultrasound examinations, including:

\n

%CF; Transabdominal and transvaginal pelvic ultrasounds

\n

%CF; Evaluation of abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids,

\n

adnexal masses, infertility, and other gynecologic conditions

\n

%CF; IUD localization and other physician-requested studies

\n

Clinical & Operational Standards:

\n

%CF; Obtain high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with AIUM and ACOG guidelines.

\n

%CF; Recognize abnormal findings and promptly communicate urgent results to the

\n

interpreting physician.

\n

%CF; Accurately document ultrasound findings and measurements in the electronic medical

\n

record.

\n

%CF; Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout the examination.

\n

%CF; Maintain ultrasound equipment and participate in quality assurance activities.

\n

%CF; Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative

\n

staff to provide efficient, patient-centered care.

\n

Requirements

\n

%CF; Certification: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) through ARDMS

\n

with OB/GYN specialty certification required.

\n

%CF; Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience performing obstetric and gynecologic

\n

ultrasound examinations in an outpatient or clinic setting.

\n

%CF; Clinical Skills: Demonstrated expertise in first, second, and third trimester obstetric

\n

imaging, as well as extensive experience performing transvaginal and pelvic ultrasound

\n

examinations.

\n

%CF; Knowledge Base: Strong working knowledge of fetal anatomy, obstetric dating, and

\n

gynecologic pathology.

\n

%CF; Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a

\n

strong commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

%CF; Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

\n

%CF; Experience performing fetal echocardiography is a plus.

\n

%CF; Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) EHR system preferred.

\n
