Location: Casper, WY
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $25-$35/hr
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m
About the Role
Adecco is recruiting on behalf of a growing repair and service organization seeking an experienced Shop Manager to lead daily operations and guide the business through an exciting period of growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with a strong background in shop operations, team management, customer service, and process improvement. The ideal candidate is someone who can take ownership of the operation, drive efficiency, support employee development, and ensure a high standard of service while contributing to the company's long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shop and service department.
  • Coordinate scheduling and workflow to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Lead, coach, and develop technicians and support staff.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and excellent service.
  • Prioritize work orders and manage shop capacity to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Monitor operational performance, productivity, and profitability.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and overall shop performance.
  • Partner with ownership and leadership to support business growth initiatives.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively.
  • Utilize software systems for scheduling, invoicing, reporting, and communication.
  • Foster a positive, team-focused work environment.
  • Support business operations as needed to ensure organizational success.
Qualifications
Required
  • Proven experience as a Shop Manager, Service Manager, or similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of shop operations, workflow management, and service delivery.
  • Experience leading teams and driving employee performance.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and scheduling abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers and business software systems.
  • Experience developing and implementing operational processes and procedures.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Results-driven, accountable, and highly motivated.
  • Professional, solutions-focused leadership style.
Preferred
  • Experience in repair services, fleet maintenance, heavy equipment industry.
  • Experience supporting a growing business environment.
  • Forklift operating and welding experience – nice to have, not required.
  • Knowledge of shop productivity metrics, efficiency management, and profitability tracking.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
