Family Medicine Physician - International Clinic: Center for Global Health & Healing

Our organization, a physician-led and accountable multispecialty group with over 650 providers, is excited to announce an opening for a part-time Family Practitioner (MD/DO). This role will be based at our International Clinic, which is part of the Center for Global Health & Healing (CGHH) program.
About the International ClinicThe International Clinic is dedicated to addressing the healthcare needs of families and individuals who have recently settled in our community through refugee resettlement and various immigration pathways. We aim to deliver respectful, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and equitable care to all families in the Treasure Valley. Our diverse patient population comes from various global backgrounds.
To overcome existing barriers to care, the clinic employs several initiatives, including:
- Home visits
- Partnerships with the local CARE Clinic
- Community Interpreter services
- Collaboration with numerous community organizations
Our dedicated providers are passionate about ensuring equitable healthcare access and enhancing the quality of medical services for vulnerable populations. The clinic adopts an integrative care model, working closely with interpreters, social workers, health advisors, and resettlement agencies to improve continuity of care for these communities. Conveniently located near the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, the clinic also offers services in Ob-Gyn, Travel Medicine, and Civil Surgeon services.

- Rotating specialty physicians from the larger healthcare system
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program
- Board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP), or the ability to obtain such certification within three years of employment
- Idaho medical licensure to practice in all aspects of medicine, along with valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho Boards of Pharmacy and DEA
