Building and authoring email content for APS marketing teams, supporting brands across Immunology, Neuroscience, Oncology, Aesthetics, and Eye Care.
Create and modify email content in the Knak platform by leveraging existing emails, assembling emails using modular components, or incorporating assets provided by external agencies
Share best practices with key partners: project managers, marketers, and creative agencies
Partner with the appropriate creative agency when any design files need updating
Route emails that have been created through the Material Review Process to gain approval before handoff to the Marketing Automation team. This includes serving as Project originator for review process and functional testing in a highly regulated environment
Proof and QC all email projects thoroughly and with meticulous attention to detail
Maintain email inventory (templates, modules, and assets such as images and iconography)
Identify and recommend enhancements to tools, templates, and content creation processes to inform the email capability roadmap
Leverage dynamic capability in knak and collaboration with Marketing Automation to personalize messaging and differentiate content for audience segments
Escalate email content tool platform issues to the Email Product Owner
Troubleshoot and provide advisory assistance on email projects as directed. This could include assisting an external agency or a team-member.
Augment email creative elements and media using design tools such as Photoshop, Figma, SnagIt etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Business or Marketing.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in email marketing, including content creation, testing, and deployment
Experience with Knak, Figma, Photoshop preferred
Knowledge of email development fundamentals including HTML/CSS and email rendering tools such as Email on Acid
Strategic mindset with attention to detail and a strong ability to exceed stakeholder expectations.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience in Pharma, or heavily regulated industry, preferred but not required.
Ability to quickly pick up new skills & tools, team-oriented, agile, interpersonal tact, emotional intelligence
