RDD CAD Drafter (1st Shift) - RC

We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals for the position of RDD Drafter (1st Shift) located in Skaneateles New York 13153 with $30.00/hour pay for a 6-month temp opportunity. You will work in an office environment, closely coordinating with tool makers. This role requires intermediate drafting techniques, strong mechanical aptitude, and solid foundational knowledge of CAD software, specifically SolidWorks, to support engineering and manufacturing projects.work in an office environment, closely coordinating with tool makers. Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Create and revise technical drawings using CAD software, primarily SolidWorks.
• Apply drafting standards (ANSI) and understand file configurations.
• Utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in daily drafting tasks.
• Coordinate effectively with tool makers and team members to ensure design accuracy.
• Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines using MS Office Suite and general PC tools.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree in drafting disciplines or 3+ years of drafting experience preferred. Technical education including mechanical drafting and mathematics.
• Intermediate knowledge of drafting techniques and CAD (SolidWorks required).
• Knowledge of GD&T and ANSI drafting standards.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and general PC use.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Open to candidates from any industry, provided they possess a strong mechanical background and demonstrated drafting and math skills.
