Schedule: Monday - Friday

BG Staffing is seeking an experienced and motivated Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations for a multifamily apartment community in Simi Valley, CA 93065. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who excels at troubleshooting maintenance issues, supervising a team, and ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards.

Position Details
  • Role: Apartment Maintenance Supervisor
  • Location: Simi Valley, CA 93065
  • Pay: $28-$30/hr
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Opportunity Type: Contract-to-Hire
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations for the apartment community.
  • Assign, monitor, and ensure completion of service requests and work orders in a timely manner.
  • Lead and support maintenance technicians while providing training and guidance as needed.
  • Perform and oversee repairs including:
    • Plumbing systems
    • Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
    • HVAC maintenance and diagnostics
    • Appliance repair
    • Carpentry, drywall, painting, and general maintenance
  • Manage unit turns and ensure apartments are move-in ready.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and maintain property standards.
  • Ensure community grounds, amenities, and common areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Respond to resident maintenance concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and all safety regulations.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation as required.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Lead Maintenance Technician, or similar role within multifamily/apartment communities.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues independently.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a resident-focused approach.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • EPA Certification preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.
