Industrial Engineer

Industrial Engineer - Full-Time

Location: Naperville, IL (Frequent travel to Glendale Heights, IL)
Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to support supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering operations for electronic device production and refurbishment. This hands-on, cross-functional role focuses on optimizing production processes, improving operational efficiency, and supporting the product lifecycle from planning through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize supply chain and manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

• Manage inventory, warehouse operations, and quality inspection processes.

• Analyze production data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

• Collaborate with suppliers to improve quality and monitor performance.

• Translate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) into production and procurement plans.

• Identify material shortages and validate alternative components.

• Improve manufacturing workflows using Lean principles and process analysis.

• Develop and monitor KPIs, SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation.

• Perform root cause analysis, process validation, and quality audits.

• Partner with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to improve manufacturability and production efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Supply Chain Engineering.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Experience with BOMs, ECOs, inventory management, supplier quality, and manufacturing processes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
