Job Description
Location: Ronkonkoma, NY
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations for a highly specialized distribution environment supporting fasteners, electronic components, and precision parts. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex inventory environments with a strong understanding of SKU management, inventory accuracy, process improvement, and audited warehouse operations.
This role requires a leader who can organize and optimize warehouse processes, manage multiple inventory locations, and build a strong team culture while supporting the high standards required in an aerospace-related environment.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is hands-on, organized, process-driven, and motivated to grow with the company.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all daily warehouse operations including:
Receiving
Shipping
Picking
Packing
Inventory control
Order fulfillment
Material movement
Oversee warehouse operations involving high-volume and complex inventory (100K+ SKUs).
Manage inventory accuracy across multiple warehouse locations and ensure proper organization, labeling, and traceability.

Develop and implement warehouse processes to improve:
Efficiency
Accuracy
Productivity
Workflow organization
Schedule and coordinate daily and weekly warehouse activities to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time.
Lead, train, coach, and develop warehouse personnel while maintaining a positive and productive team environment.
Monitor inventory levels, cycle counts, discrepancies, and corrective actions.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company procedures and quality standards.
Support audit requirements by maintaining accurate inventory records and warehouse processes.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement best practices.
Coordinate with purchasing, production, customer service, and operations teams to ensure smooth material flow.
Manage warehouse supplies, equipment, and operational needs.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of warehouse management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, electronics, fastener, automotive, or precision parts environment.

Proven experience managing a complex warehouse with:
Large SKU volumes
Multiple inventory locations
Component-level inventory

Strong understanding of:
Inventory control
Cycle counting
Shipping/receiving processes
Warehouse organization
Material handling procedures

Experience working with ERP/WMS systems such as:
SAP
NetSuite
Epicor
Infor
AS400
Other inventory management systems
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to analyze warehouse processes and implement improvements.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Aerospace, defense, electronics, or industrial parts warehouse experience.
Experience working in an audited or regulated environment.
Experience with government/customer compliance requirements.
Experience managing serialized parts, lot tracking, or traceability requirements.
Experience managing multiple warehouse locations.
Forklift certification or hands-on material handling experience.
