Our organization is looking for an Interventional Radiologist (IR/DR hybrid) to become part of our esteemed health system at the Altoona location. Candidates must possess an MD or equivalent degree, be board-certified or board-eligible in Radiology, and have the capability to secure an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license. Proficiency in interventional radiology procedures typically performed in a community hospital setting is essential.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Sign-on bonus of $60,000
  • Flexible scheduling options: 7-on, 7-off or a traditional schedule with 9 weeks of paid time off
  • Overnight call responsibilities (IR only), with additional compensation of $5,000 per week
  • Join a large practice of over 90 subspecialty-trained Radiologists serving the majority of our organization’s footprint in Western Pennsylvania. Your role at the Altoona campus will be supported by three Advanced Practice Providers and a team of Reading Room Assistants.
  • Clinical appointment affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh Department of Radiology, offering opportunities for teaching and research participation if desired
  • Visa sponsorship is available

What We Provide

  • Base salary of $600,000, with paid IR call and an attractive incentive plan that can elevate total compensation to between $730,000 and $850,000+
