Cost Manager

Construction Estimator - New York City

We are seeking a Construction Estimator with 3+ years of estimating experience working for a leading Construction Management (CM) or General Contractor. The ideal candidate will have strong experience preparing conceptual, schematic, and detailed construction cost estimates for commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare construction cost estimates throughout all project phases.

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents.

• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.

• Evaluate subcontractor/vendor proposals and assist with bid preparation.

• Review change orders and support project budgeting and cost control.

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of construction estimating experience with a reputable CM or General Contractor.

• Experience estimating commercial construction projects (interiors, core & shell, MEP/infrastructure preferred).

• Strong understanding of construction drawings, subcontractor pricing, and procurement.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction estimating software.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
