Real Estate Litigation Attorney

Position Overview

The attorney will handle a broad range of real estate litigation matters from inception through resolution, including motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, negotiations, and trial preparation.

The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, excellent legal writing skills, and the ability to independently manage cases while working closely with clients and senior attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle real estate litigation matters from pre-litigation through trial

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal briefs, and settlement agreements

• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy

• Attend court appearances, mediations, depositions, and hearings

• Manage disputes involving:

  • Commercial and residential real estate matters

  • Breach of contract claims

  • Landlord-tenant disputes

  • Title and boundary disputes

  • Easement and property ownership issues

  • Real estate fraud and nondisclosure claims

• Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy and updates

• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school

• Active State Bar license in good standing

• Minimum 5+ years of litigation experience

• Real estate litigation experience is required

• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills

• Experience handling motions, discovery, and court appearances

• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

• Strong interpersonal and client communication skills
