Job Summary
We are seeking a Construction Project Manager/Civil Engineer for a short-term contract opportunity supporting major civil construction, facility expansion, infrastructure, and operational improvement projects in the Moon Township/Coraopolis, PA area. This role is ideal for a civil engineering or construction management professional who enjoys managing projects from planning through turnover while working closely with contractors, vendors, engineers, municipalities, and field operations teams.
This opportunity offers steady 40-hour workweeks, involvement in large-scale facility modernization initiatives, and visibility across critical construction and infrastructure projects. The work environment is collaborative and project-focused, with supportive leadership, cross-functional teamwork, and opportunities to strengthen your construction project management, civil engineering, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage civil construction projects through planning, design coordination, construction, commissioning, and operational handoff.
- Oversee facility expansion, site development, infrastructure improvements, grading, utilities, and related construction activities.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, cost estimates, forecasts, and capital or expense funding.
- Review civil engineering drawings, construction documents, specifications, and technical requirements for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with general contractors, developers, engineering firms, vendors, municipalities, inspectors, fire officials, and regulatory agencies.
- Monitor construction progress, contractor performance, project risks, milestones, testing, commissioning, and final turnover activities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $45 to $46 per hour.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week.
- Contract duration: Through December 2026.
- Location: Moon Township/Coraopolis, PA.
