\nThe Maintenance Manager will oversee all physical aspects of the plant including service and repair of electrical and mechanical systems; maintenance of production equipment, physical plant, utilities, and grounds; and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Hires and trains Maintenance Department staff. \n
- Organizes and oversees Maintenance staff duties and scheduling. \n
- Conducts timely and constructive performance evaluations. \n
- \n
- Oversees, schedules, and coordinates daily work assignments of maintenance, electrical, and mechanical operation workers. \n
- \n
- Handles development and discipline of employees as needed, and in accordance with company policy. \n
Duties/Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Facilitates proper maintenance of all parts and areas of the facility including machinery and buildings. \n
- Creates, schedules, implements, and manages a Preventive Maintenance Program for production machinery and equipment. \n
- Directs the maintenance and operations of various facility systems to ensure uninterrupted service. Covered systems may include electrical, refrigeration, water, steam, and compressed gas. \n
- Evaluates jobs in process and on completion to ensure products meet safety and work quality expectations. \n
- Conducts chemical analysis and maintenance as required for boiler, air wash-water, and similar systems. \n
- Procures materials, supplies, and repair parts to maintain inventory as required. \n
- Suggests, plans, and oversees equipment needs and acquisition to maximize production efficiency and return. \n
- Oversees and plans the layout of electrical and mechanical equipment; recommends and implements modifications to facilities. \n
- Assist in driving unplanned machine down-time to company standards \n
- Support efforts to drive Continuous Improvement efforts, Lean Manufacturing techniques, and 6S theories \n
- Assists in meeting budget targets and limits on capital purchases are adhered to \n
- Supervises the maintenance staff and drive cross-training for the department \n
- Problem-solving and trouble shooting maintenance issues \n
- Ensures daily goals and metrics are met and sustained daily/weekly/quarterly/annually \n
- Performs other related duties as required. \n
- Ability to lead and communicate effectively \n
- Ability to use MRP systems \n
REQUIREMENTS:
\n- \n
- High School Degree plus ten years related experience (Bachelors degree preferred) \n
- Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Press and CNC machining in hydraulic and mechanical environments. \n
- Must possess analytical problem-solving techniques. \n
- Exposure or ability to learn Lean Manufacturing techniques \n
- Self-motivated and self-managed, possessing strong organizational skills \n
