An established civil contractor in the Wilmington, DE area is seeking an experienced Site Development Estimator to support bidding and preconstruction efforts for full site development packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for earthwork, utilities, stormwater, paving, and complete site packages.
• Review drawings, specs, and reports to determine accurate quantities and scope.
• Perform digital takeoffs and evaluate subcontractor/supplier pricing.
• Maintain cost data and participate in bid reviews and handoffs.
• Collaborate with project teams and develop strong industry relationships.

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of estimating experience in site development or heavy civil.
• Strong understanding of civil plans and production rates.
• Proficiency with takeoff/estimating software (Agtek, HCSS, Bluebeam, etc.).
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred but optional.
