\nAs a MIG/TIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components while working from engineering drawings and specifications. You will be working with a variety of metals in a busy fabrication environment, ensuring all work meets quality standards.\n
Duties Include\n
\n

- MIG and TIG welding to a high standard
\n - Welding aluminium, zinc, stainless steel, mild steel and other ferrous and non-ferrous metals
\n - Fabricating and assembling metal components
\n - Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
\n - Producing both bespoke and batch work
\n - Grinding, linishing and finishing welded products
\n - Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
\n - Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
\n - Following health and safety procedures at all times
\n
\n

- Previous experience as a MIG/TIG Welder
\n - Experience welding aluminium is essential
\n - Experience working with zinc, stainless steel, mild steel and other metals is highly desirable
\n - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
\n - Good attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
\n - Able to work independently and as part of a team
\n - Reliable, punctual and committed to long-term work

Successful candidates will be required to complete an on-site practical MIG/TIG weld test as part of the interview process. Only applicants who successfully pass the weld test will be considered for the position.
