Commercial Finance Manager

Remote (UK) | Occasional Travel to Sheffield Full-Time or Part-Time hours considered (3 or 4 days per week)

I am recruiting an experienced Commercial Finance Manager for a rapidly growing, international technology business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that continues to grow both organically and through strategic acquisitions. The Job:

This is a hands-on role that combines transactional finance with commercial exposure and continuous improvement, taking ownership of day-to-day financial activities while supporting the wider business.

Key responsibilities to include:

\n
• Processing a low volume of high-value sales invoices.
\n
• Managing the purchase ledger and supplier payments.
\n
• Completing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate cash records.
\n
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
\n
• Supporting the Head of Finance with month-end activities and reporting.
\n
• Partnering with the commercial team on customer contract renewals, pricing and profitability.
\n
• Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and implement improvements that drive efficiency.
\n
• Supporting the integration of new acquisitions into the finance function.
\n
• Contributing to projects as the business continues to grow.
\n
• Other ad hoc duties as required.
\n

• Experience in a similar role is essential.
\n
• You will be organised, proactive and able to manage your own workload.

• A confident communicator who can build relationships across the business.
\n
• You must be commercially aware with the ability to understand the wider business impact of finance.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
\n
• Naturally curious with a mindset for improving processes and challenging the status quo.

• A self-starter who takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion.
