Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable company who are in search of a Yard Operative to join their team on a fulltime permanent basis.It is an exciting time to join a growing business who value their staff and in turn offer great benefits and an excellent team working environment.What's in it for you?Salary up to £32,000 depending on experienceParking on siteCompany PensionCareer progressionThe role:This is a varied role, you will get involved in all the warehouse/yard activities including, loading/unloading, managing stock control systems, locating goods, as well as serving customers.Key responsibilities:Loading and unloading delivery vehiclesSorting through stock and notifying if there is a shortageMoving supplies to storage areasPicking and packing ordersDealing with customers courteously and efficientlyMaintaining a clean and tidy working area and ensure that a good level of Health and Safety standards are maintainedWorking to schedule to ensure on time delivery to customersComplete any additional tasks as required by supervisor/managerExperience required:Previous warehouse/yard experience - essentialForklift licence (Side Loader/ Counterbalance) - desirableGood organisational and planning skills with proven track record of task prioritisationGood problem-solving skillsGood understanding of customer requirements with proven track record in meeting customer expectationsWillingness to adopt flexible work patterns when required to meet business needsDue to location, own transport is essentialExtra info:Refer a friend and earn up to £500 (see website for details)Due to high application volumes, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
