Door Entry / Access Control EngineerLocation: Maidstone & Tunbridge WellsSalary: £38,000£42,000 per annum (depending on experience)Job Type: Full-Time, PermanentAbout the RoleWe're looking for a highly skilled Door Entry / Access Control Engineer with a strong electrical background to join our growing Fire & Security team, covering Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, and the surrounding areas.The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, commissioning, and fault-finding of door entry and access control systems across a range of commercial, social housing, and town centre properties.This role is ideally suited to a strong Door Entry Engineer with a minimum Level 2 Electrical qualification , who is looking for a long-term opportunity within a growing business that values technical expertise and career development.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, service, maintain, and fault-find on door entry and access control systems.Carry out both planned installations and reactive maintenance works.Upgrade, commission, and test systems to current industry standards.Diagnose electrical faults associated with door entry and access control systems.Deliver a professional and high-quality service to clients and residents.Complete job reports and associated documentation accurately and on time.Work in accordance with all company health and safety policies and procedures.Essential RequirementsMinimum Level 2 Electrical qualification (or equivalent).At least 5 years' experience working with door entry/intercom systems, ideally including Entrotec .At least 5 years' experience working with access control systems, ideally including Intratone , PAC , and Ensign .Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.Full UK driving licence.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Desirable ExperienceExperience working within social housing environments.Experience working in busy town centre or high-footfall commercial properties.Experience with system upgrades, commissioning, and integration of door entry and access control systems.Salary & BenefitsCompetitive salary of £38,000£42,000 , depending on experience.23 days' annual leave plus 8 bank holidays .Company van and fuel card (where applicable).All parking costs covered through a company parking app or dedicated parking team.Company pension via People's Pension (5% employee contribution).Access to the HAPI Rewards app, offering retail discounts and employee perks.24/7 Virtual GP service.Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) providing confidential wellbeing support.TPBN1_UKTJ
