Valuation Surveyor Associate

Hays Property & Surveying is seeking a Valuation Surveyor to join the Southampton office of a leading UK property consultancy.

The company are a well-known property consultancy who are recognised for delivering expert advice, with a strong regional presence and national reach. They provide client-focused solutions across the property sector, with a focus on key disciplines such as, valuation, landlord & tenant, property asset management, development & investment and commercial agency.
\n Their Southampton office is a key part of the business - being an anchor point for the company's regional presence across the South Coast. Included in this is their Valuation Advisory team, who are known for their expertise and providing advice to a wide range of clients. The team are now looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Associate-level Surveyor, who will join and contribute to their ongoing success.
\n The role will be based in their central Southampton office, with a hybrid working policy available.
Your new role
\n As an Associate within the Valuation Advisory team, you will be responsible for undertaking a broad range of property valuation work across multiple asset classes, whilst supporting senior leadership and contributing to the continued growth of the team. You will work with a varied portfolio of clients including high street lenders, challenger banks, pension funds and property investment companies.

Key Responsibilities -

• Deliver accurate and timely valuations for a range of purposes including loan security, financial reporting and asset management.
\n
• Prepare detailed valuation reports in line with RICS Red Book standards.
\n
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
\n
• Support with business development and contribute to winning new instructions.
\n
• Collaborate with colleagues across other service lines to provide integrated client solutions.
\n
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory compliance.
\n

What you'll need to succeed

\n
• MRICS Qualified (Registered Valuer status preferred)
\n
• Significant and proven experience in undertaking valuations within commercial property.
\n
• Working within a property consultancy / surveying practice is preferred.
\n
• Proficient knowledge in a range of property valuation methodologies.
\n
• Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
\n
• Strong commercial acumen and financial skills.
\n
