\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an expanding manufacturing organisation based in Leek, Staffordshire. The company is currently upgrading its facilities with new machinery and site infrastructure.
\nYou will operate within a high-speed production environment, managing a diverse range of breakdown repairs, planned maintenance and site optimisation projects. This position suits a multi skilled maintenance engineer with a career background in food production or manufacturing environments.
\nKey Responsibilities of this Maintenance Engineer role:

- Troubleshooting urgent electrical and mechanical faults to keep production lines running. \n
- Carrying out scheduled PPM tasks on production and packing lines. \n
- Overseeing core site services including compressed air, cooling and ventilation infrastructure. \n
- Assisting with the setup, testing and integration of new production machinery. \n
- Documenting all repairs and service history accurately within the CMMS. \n
- Undertaking continuous improvement to boost reliability and output. \n
- Strict adherence to food safety codes and sanitary production guidelines. \n
Requirements for this Maintenance Engineer role:

- Minimum Level 3 technical qualification in an engineering discipline (required). \n
- Background maintaining automated machinery within food production or manufacturing sectors. \n
- Excellent fault finding capabilities across both mechanical and electrical components. \n
- Basic understanding of PLC systems (preferred). \n
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety protocols, including Lockout-Tagout. \n
Benefits for this Maintenance Engineer role:

- Salary negotiable based on technical experience. \n
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. \n
- Rotating double days (Early shift: 06:00-14:00 / Late shift: 14:00-22:00). \n
- Hands-on involvement with capital expenditure installations and system upgrades. \n
