Our Client is hiring for a reputed client, supporting the OpNET programme with Windows-based platforms in highly virtualised environments-helping deliver full lifecycle engineering from build and integration through to operational support.What you'll be doing:Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems across enterprise environmentsDeploy and support key Microsoft enterprise services such as Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, SQL, WSUS, PKI and supporting applicationsAdminister Windows environments within virtualised infrastructure platformsCarry out system configuration, patching, backup and restore to help maintain platform availabilitySupport integration, troubleshooting and resolution across infrastructure servicesProduce and review technical artefacts including design documentation, build guides and operational proceduresSupport system testing, integration and commissioning activitiesWork with Service Management to investigate and resolve incidents and service requestsContribute to continuous improvement, automation and standardisation of WINTEL servicesDeliver activities in line with programme timelines, standards and security requirementsWhat you'll bring:Strong experience with Windows Server platforms (2012R2, 2016 and later) in enterprise environmentsExperience deploying and administering Active Directory in secure environmentsFamiliarity with Microsoft enterprise services including PKI, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, SQL and WSUSExperience supporting Windows in virtualised infrastructure environmentsKnowledge of patching, backup/restore and monitoring as part of system administrationExperience using PowerShell for administration and automationAbility to create technical documentation (e.g. LLDs, build guides, runbooks)Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skillsExperience working in complex programmes and large technical teamsUnderstanding of service management principles (ITIL)You must hold, or be eligible to obtain, UK Security Clearance (SC)Additional information:Exposure to secure or regulated environments is highly beneficialReady to build, support and continuously improve Windows enterprise services in a secure, programme-driven environment?
