Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) Salary: £24,480Location: Newport (Onsite)Contract: Full-time, PermanentHours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am 4:30pmAbout the Role We are looking for a dedicated and supportive Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to learners, helping them develop confidence, achieve their goals, and progress in their education and future careers.You will work closely with tutors to create a positive and inclusive learning environment while supporting learners with their individual needs.Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 support to learners during training sessions.Help learners complete coursework, assignments, and learning activities.Encourage participation, motivation, and confidence.Support tutors in delivering engaging learning sessions.Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.Essential Requirements Experience working with young people or a genuine passion for supporting them.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Positive, patient, and encouraging approach.Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check and Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration.What's on Offer Full-time, permanent position35-hour working week30 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with service)Healthcare schemeRetail and gym discountsLife insuranceOngoing training and career developmentIf you're passionate about helping young people succeed and want to make a real difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
