Client Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Permanent Client Manager to join our client's accountancy firm team in Watford, Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of statutory accounts and other financial reporting requirements. A key aspect of this role involves working extensively with Xero accounting software The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of statutory accounting processes within a Xero environment. They will also possess excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams, ensuring all deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded.Experience in preparing and managing statutory accountsProficiency in Xero accounting softwarePrevious experience as a Client Manager or in a similar roleManage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and private clientsPrepare statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole tradersPrepare corporation tax computations and returnsPrepare and review VAT returns, bookkeeping and management accountsBuild strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact for day-to-day queriesLiaise directly with clients to obtain accounting records and resolve outstanding mattersSupport clients with cloud accounting software and process improvementsJoining this team offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with supportive colleagues.
